Starting the morning with a Strawberry shake...adding ice for the smoothie effect...
By 9:30 was hungry again...was able to hold out until 10am where I created a "game changer"
Chocolate shake made with hot water(cocoa effect) and Peanut Butter Powder....I can not say it enough...GAME CHANGER...This is something I would even consider drinking after I reach my goal!!

For lunch I had a spinach salad with broccoli/carrot slaw. I split my fat up between a low cal salad dressing and a Laughing cow Cheese. FYI the white cheddar has the same cal/fat content as the swiss light and tastes way better!! And a cup of the Profile Chicken soup. Still not my favorite...but on the REBOOT plan I need 4 meal replacements and one will soon get bored with only Shakes. Remember to use vegetable or chicken broth instead of water and it makes it better.

Snack what a Profile glazed Sugar Cookie bar and a glass of mixed berry fiber drink that I mixed with a carbonated flavored water....hoping to distill the soda cravings I must subconsciously be having since I dreamed that I forgot I was on this plan and was drinking a Sprite in my dream. Anywho, the Profile drink needed to be mixed pretty well so I did lose quite a bit of carbonation in the process and in the end tasked a bit like Kool-aid...so hit the sweet tooth. The Sugar cookie bar must have been good...but I ate it too fast to remember. I packed it again today...so I will be sure to stop and taste it this time.

So I told Eric last week that we need to challenge ourselves by going out to eat one night. We need the temptation put in front of us and the mindfulness to make the right decision. Eric suggested Houlihan's since we had coupons and they seem to be family and healthy eating friendly.

So we went....our coupon was a "surprise" envelope and you receive what ever is in the envelope. And ours turned out to be a Free Dessert...snag 1. OF COURSE! Well lucky  5yo gets a dessert when she finishes her dinner. She picks what she wants immediately. A piece of snickers ice cream cake with an oreo crust and drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauce. Eric chuckles as he has no problem with it...but knows I am dying a bit on the inside. (Sidebar: Turns out I am an ice cream addict...who knew?!? Well the drive-thru workers at Dairy Queen I am sure knows that...So much so that this new healthy lifestyle may put our local DQ out of business!!)

I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and a side of green beans. Eric has the grilled Salmon salad. Both of us feel satisfied. I do take a small taste of the ice cream...but only because my dinner was pretty fat free and I am allotted 1 fat serving. One small bite of ice cream is worth it to me....though not approved...Eric said "Go ahead" you lost over 5 lbs last week....you can have one bite. And I did...and it was good.

(Sidebar: when we started this plan I told Eric that I was not game to comparing weight loss with each other because 1. he is a guy and loses weight faster and 2. we did that before and I got so discouraged that I wasn't losing or losing fast enough when we did Success Meals. 3.He needs to cut out his humble brags..."oh my pants are too big, my belt needs to go down another size...oh I just lost 20 lbs overnight...how weird" Okay I am exaggerating...but now by much)  So he knew that I had lost 5 lbs. by pure accident when I was discussing the transition from MOM to REBOOT. I do not know how much he has lost...and he started working out...so I am not sure I want to know)

We had a chaotic departure from the restaurant. The 5yo and I headed to the bathroom for a potty break and for me to brush my teeth (Sidebar: so I also started Invisalign 18 weeks ago. So that is really been a P.I.T.A. when having to eat 6 times a day...that means running to the bathroom to brush my teeth 6 times a day too. Yes, I know about collgate wisps...yes I use them...but I really hate the taste.) On our way back from the bathroom a server turns around from the pass at the bar and runs straight into my daughter's face with a full pint glass. So we have the manager running to get her ice and me consoling her and trying to say excuse me to the waiter. Eric is back at the table with a ready-to-go-home baby and not even aware that this is accident occurred. Kid and I get back to the table where she has a melting plate of ice cream and the manger comes behind us with the ice pack. I am READY to go! I tell 5 yo to take a last bite of her ice cream cuz we are out of here. And I for the first time in my life left a table with ice cream unconsumed...sounds like a minor victory...but I am still thinking about it the next day!

So home for the 3Bs (baths, books, bed...okay maybe 4Bs as we also watch the Big Bang Theory(or is that 5Bs!?!?)) and my hubby was gracious enough to bring me my last 6th meal as I was doing the girl's post bath routine a.k.a. their long. long hair...both of them...even the baby. It was a chocolate hazelnut Profile shake made with hot water and PB Powder (again, I can not stress this enough...game CHANGER!!).

I did notice that I felt a bit hungry as I was drifting off to sleep...but not too terrible that it kept me awake.

Questions to ask on my next counselor visit...with all of these 8oz meal replacements and fiber drinks...do they count towards our 64 oz water goal. Not that I need it to...as I am currently able to put down enough plain water, just wondering.

 More to come...
