Today I had a Physical and needed to fast so my meals are a bit screwed up. Meal 1: Double Shake (1 vanilla and 1 chocolate), Broccoli slaw, cucumbers and 1 LFLC Cheese Meal 2: Celery and PB Powder PB Meal 3: Bar and Fiber drink Meal 4: Grilled Fish Tacos and Asparagus, with FF Sour Cream , Salsa, Shredded Cheese Meal 5: Double Shake (1 vanilla and 1 chocolate) with PB Powder and almond milk and a small scoop of Halo Top Ice Cream Challenges: After fasting for well over 12 hours...it took everything in my power to stay on plan. I really wanted to hit the drive thru on my way back to work. But I drank my shakes and ate my "salad" in the car. I had some blood draw issues and have to go back tomorrow. They couldn't get the view to supply much blood...needed three vials and couldn't even get one. I plan to double down on water before returning to try again. I so wanted an AMA cookie with my evening shake...it would have paired so nicely. Thankfully my hubby put

Meal 1: Hot Profile Chocolate Shake with Tea Meal 2: Double Profile Nacho Pasta with mashed cauliflower and leftover ground beef added. Meal 3: Bar and Fiber drink Meal 4: Turkey Burger with LF  cheese, wrapped in lettuce and a salad of spinach, iceberg, tomatoes, cheese and salsa. Still a little bit of sour cream left on there...but just a tiny bit. Meal 5: Frozen Profile Chocolate shake with almond milk and PB Powder Challenges: Reception for coworker serving CAKE!!! and yummy sherbet punch. I just stood around chugging my water...ughh. Super busy evening...so much wanted to just hit a drive thru on the way to 5yo's dance class. I, instead, had to bust my hump to get turkey burgers grilled and dinner made, served and eaten in 35 mins. Had a chat with Daddio when he got home...that Tuesday nights need to be heat and serve only!! The little one and I did go for walk during 5yo's dance class...so at least I got some exercise in. Food Reviews : I bought the hubby

Meal 1: Chocolate Profile Shake and tea Meal 2: Bar Meal 3: 1/3 of a taco salad from Ponak's (iceberg, ground beef, cheese , tomatoes, sour cream and salsa) Meal 4: Celery and PB Powder PB Meal 5: Two packs of Profile Nacho pasta and 1.5 cups of broccoli with Bolthouse Parmesan Dressing Meal 6: Vanilla shake with PB Powder Challenges: Lunch out with work team. I knew it was coming. Ponak's is a Mexican restaurant...chips salsa...the whole deal. I asked for light cheese on the salad...and I did ask for sour cream. I knew I shouldn't have had either...but I just don't like all the tomatoes and salsa with out a bit of sour cream mixed in.  So I limited myself to only 1/3 of the salad...I was pretty hungry the rest of the day...but did my best to stay within the limits of the fat allowances.  Food reviews:   So one of the other "cheats" I forgot to mention over the long weekend was this Halo Top Ice Cream. It is low fat and high protein. I had a servi

I know I know...I have been MIA!! Last week was crazy busy with work and some vacation days off of work. I have no idea what I ate...other than I stayed on PLAN about 98% Challenges: My mom was in town Wed-Sun and that should not have been a challenge since she is a Profiler as well....but she is in the Sustain phase and we did not have a lot of fruit or carbs for her to consume. She mostly had what I had with a few exceptions. BUT the biggest challenge is that she and the 5yo made cookies on Saturday...and not just any cookie...her famous AMA Monster cookies...So yes I did finally cave and had a bite of one on Saturday (right out of the oven) and I had another whole one split over the day on Sunday. This was actually a win for me...because over the course of two days I had 1.5 cookies...any other time, I would have had 3-4 a DAY! They have peanut butter and oats in them...almost like a breakfast cookie...but not! I also had planned to work out while she was here...you know with

Long weekend where I forgot to log on and record my meals...so some of these are guesses. Fri Meal 1: Hot Tea mixed with Chocolate shake Meal 2: Celery and PB Powder PB Meal 3: Carrots, broccoli, spinach, Bolthouse Raspberry dressing and 1.5packs of Nacho Pasta Meal 4: 0.5 packs of Nacho Pasta, remaining salad Meal 5: Bar and Fiber drink Meal 6: I think it was Profile Recipe Meatloaf and green beens with balsamic Meal 7: Hot Profile Chocolate shake Sat Meal 1: Double Hot Tea mixed with Chocolate shake Meal 2: Side salad from Arby's with Balsamic Dressing Meal 3: Bar and Fiber drink Meal 4: Profile Strawberry Kiwi drink Meal 5: Chicken breast, broccoli, and brussel sprouts Meal 6: Hot Profile profile shake Sun Meal 1: Double Hot Tea mixed with Chocolate shake Meal 2: Cucumbers, Celery and  PB Powder PB Meal 3: Profile Strawberry Kiwi drink Meal 4: Steak, salad, asparagus and  Bolthouse Ranch dressing Meal 5: Hot Profile profile and  PB Powder  shake and ba

Sometimes I wonder if counting the days makes it seem like a prison sentence. That was never my intention...but as I have to look to the last post to see what day I am on...it seems tedious. It's not, BTW! Meal 1: Hot Profile Chocolate Shake with Chai Tea Meal 2: Celery and PB Powder PB Meal 3: Double Pack of Nacho Pasta Meal 4: Brussel Sprouts, Bar, and Fiber drink Meal 5: Fish Lettuce Wraps, with 3/4 oz shredded cheese , FF Sour Cream, Salsa Meal 6: Hot Profile Chocolate Shake Challenges: St. Patty's Day - I didn't crave the desserts as much as I would have thought...but instead I yearned for a nice glass of chilled Riesling. This weekend we are heading up to the in-laws. There will be food and treats abound...and an early Easter dinner on Sunday. I plan to pack my product and stay the course. But this will be my first traveling attempt since starting this plan....should be interesting. Exercise:  I did half a mile on the treadmill before work got in the w

Meal 1: Profile Hot Shake and Tea Meal 2: Double Nacho Pasta, mashed cauliflower, brussel sprouts Meal 3: Bar and Fiber Drink Meal 4: Turkey Burger, Green Beans, balsamic, real cheese, Miracle whip light, ketchup Meal 5: Profile Frozen Chocolate shake with PBpowder and Almond Milk Challenges: I forgot to mention that I (for the first time on this plan) went through the Dairy Queen drive through for the 5yo as a treat and did not get myself anything. I feel bac that it has been so long since my daughter has been allowed ice cream and I needed to break a $20 bill anyway for a Girl Scout thing. This is HUGE for me...as Dairy Queen is my other mecca!! St. Patrick's Day is tomorrow...need I say more? Fellow Profiler - (Hey Steph) is here tonight...so we should be able to be supportive and have enough fun where we won't MISS green beer....right?!?! Food Reviews:  Nothing new :( Exercise:  Was planning to go for a long walk to Target and to my Profile appt over lunch to

1/2 Zevia 0 calorie Cherry Cola Meal 1: Hot Chocolate Profile Shake with tea Meal 2: Celery with PB Powder PB and  1/2 Zevia 0 calorie Cherry Cola Meal 3: Double Profile Nacho Pasta; Spinach salad, carrots and Bolthouse Raspberry Merlot Vinaigrette Meal 4: Bar and Fiber Drink Meal 5: Roast Beef, Roasted Carrots, Mashed Cauliflower, and Brussel Sprouts with Balsamic Meal 6: Profile Vanilla Pudding with lime juice and FF Whipped Cream and walnuts Challenges: Neck and back pain: So today I went on a walk over lunch. About 2.5 miles. After my massage the night before my neck and back were still recovering. Made walking up the hills a bit painful. I had to stop a couple times just to rest my back. Damn is sucks getting old. It seems as though I over did it on the freebies yesterday. I think when I went to put the whipped cream on my pudding, I had forgotten about the Peanut Butter I had in meal 2 earlier in the day. Food reviews: Zevia 0 calorie Cherry Cola - a new caffeine s

Meal 1: Bai Bubbles and Profile Strawberry Kiwi Drink Meal 2: Double Nacho Cheese Pasta and Spinach salad with cucumbers, carrots, and Bolthouse Merlot Vinaigrette (not sure if this counts as a freebie since its only 0.5 gm of Fat) Meal 3: Fiber Drink, bar, and pistachios Meal 4: Sushi made with Salmon, cauliflower, nori, FF Cream Cheese , asparagus and Eel Sauce Meal 5: Profile Chocolate Shake and 3/4 cup Halo Top Ice Cream vanilla and lemon cake Challenges: Eric went on a mission to find Halo Top Ice Cream...it is supposed to be all the rage with it's low fat content and high protein content. He found 3 pints left at his 3rd HyVee. It was good, especially for not having had ice cream in Months. I doubt this ice cream is "Profile" approved...but given the nutritional information on the container, I think it is fine to have once in a while. I am sure, since our dairy is pretty restricted to cheese and FF sour cream...that ice cream is a big NO-NO. But if it keep

Meal 1: Profile Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Meal 2: Profile Chocolate Shake with tea Meal 3 :Cucumbers, Celery, PBPowder PB , Spinach, Snap Peas, mixed dressing , Profile Nacho Cheese Pasta, 1 LFLC cheese Meal 4: Bar(berry one) Meal 5: Planet Sub Lettuce Wrap  - no mayo, no mustard and a butternut squash, spinach, and zucchini lasagna(no cheese) added FF mayo when I got home.  Meal 6: Profile Frozen Chocolate Shake  Challenges: Planet Sub...my previous mecca. We ate there easily once a week or once every other week. The bread...ughh that bread...it smells so good! And I had to smell it twice since my 5yo didn't finish her entire sandwich before Gymnastics and wanted the rest of it heated up when we got home. I ordered my wrap sans dressings but left the cheese. I realized later that I also left on the bacon...but the meat weighed(yes I pulled the wrap apart to weigh the damn thing) right around 4 oz. So I felt the bacon was justified. Why? I don't know...its just wha

Meal 1: Hot Profile Shake with Chai tea Meal 2: Profile Nacho Cheese pasta Salad with snap peas and mixed dressing Meal 3: Profile Strawberry Kiwi drink and Bar Meal 4: Beef Tacos wrapped in Romaine, with grilled zucchini, real cheese , FF sour cream , and Fiber drink Meal 5: Profile Vanilla pudding with a scoop of PB powder and a squirt of FF whipped topping. Challenges: Work schedule today made it hard to get my food made in eaten at normal times. I was able split my normal meal/snack of a bar and fiber drink between the meals before and after that. Comparing my loss to others seems to be something I need to let go of. I have a friend who has been the biggest drinker, smoker, chicken-fried-steak eater, I know...who is now chronicling his weight loss on Facebook, is only 10 days in and already lost 14lbs. Uggh...so annoying. Food Reviews: I knew I would eventually find the right use for these vanilla shakes...with PB Powder. Shake or pudding...I like them both. Weight:

Meal 1: Hot Profile Chocolate Shake with Vanilla Chai Tea Meal 2: Profile Chicken Soup, Cucumbers and 1 LFLC cheese Meal 3: Cucumbers, Broccoli, Celery, 2 baby carrots and a spoonful of full fat veggie dip . and a Profile Chocolate shake. Meal 4: Bar and fiber drink Meal 5: Profile Recipe Meatloaf and Green Beans with Balsamic Meal 6: Profile frozen Vanilla Shake with PB powder Challenges: Girl scout cookies are still in our house. Since I was working from home today, I decided today was the day to get rid of them And no, that didn't mean eating them...though man did I think about it. My mom had purchased several boxes and because she is is 2 years into this plan had enough will power to tell me to donate them rather than give them to her. So I took most of our own personal order and combined them with my mom's order and delivered them to my 5yo's Kindergarten teacher at morning drop off. That was really hard to do...I LOVE GS cookies...a lot! I had a conference

Snack: Bai 5 calorie beverage - needed the caffeine this morning. Meal 1 and 2: Double Profile Chocolate shake with Numi Pu-erh tea Meal 3: Profile Nacho Cheese Pasta, Leftovers of Kalettes and Cauliflower Cheese Pizza. Meal 4: Bar and Fiber drink Meal 5: Scallops and Brussel Sprouts with Balsamic Meal 6: Profile Vanilla Shake with PB Powder Challenges: Even after a double shake at 9:45 am, but 11:30 I started getting a grumbling hunger. I had a hell of a time making the Nacho Pasta with only a coffee cup to microwave it in...I had to watch it like a hawk and it still boiled over 3 times. Eric found the key of making it in a very wide bottomed bowl that was 4 times bigger than you would think it needed to be. Food Reviews: The Vanilla Shake is back on the table if mixed with PB Powder or with a bit of lime juice. Alone i just can't handle the fake vanilla taste. Weight: Still hovering as of this morning. Better than a spike, right? more to come...

50 days...not sure if I feel like it has gone by quickly or slowly. I do get frustrated that the weight isn't coming off fast enough...but I have to remind myself that this is fast. I am just being impatient. If I were doing Weight Watchers again I would be down maybe 10-12lbs and not 20-22 at this point...so perspective. Also my exercise is not at the level it should be...but more on that later. Meal 1: Hot Profile Chocolate Shake with Tea Meal 2: Profile Tomato Soup with balsamic and 1 LFLC cheese Meal 3: Celery with PB powder PB Snack: Carrots and Cucumbers with 1/2 of a LFLC cheese Meal 4: 12g bar leftover from my 1st week of Profile on the Mom plan and Frozen/Blended Profile Chocolate Meal 5: Chicken Sausage with a veggie "lasagna" (spinach, zucchini, butternut squash, tomato sauce, FF cottage cheese, a sprinkle of shredded cheese ) Meal 6: Frozen/Blended Profile Chocolate Shake with PB powder . Eat to live, not live to eat We have always been told that eating should only be used to sustain life...not to fill a void or to use as mood elevator...I also knew that in my head...but I didn't really ever believe it inside. Or I thought only health nuts feel that way. I don't consider myself a health nut...but I do feel a shift in me. I am not constantly thinking about my next meal and most cravings have subsided. I hope that continues.I am sure it will be a life long battle of wanting to taste that which is no

Challenges: Still not getting the exercise I need. I really need to push harder for that time. I am averaging only about 5000 steps a day otherwise...and that is half of what it should be. I can't remember the last time I got in 10,000 steps. I keep blaming the cold weather...but even on warm days I am lucky to get 7000 in. I think I have bad memories associated with Stir fry...when I was like 7 or 8 my parents went whole hog on Weight Watchers and both lost a ton of weight. And they bought a WOK and we had stir fry all the damn time...and as a kid, I HATED it. So now I am still not a huge fan of it. I am also not a big fan of Chinese spices and flavorings. I also actually had so m
