Long Memorial Weekend and 40th Birthday Celebration for good friend. We went out to eat for lunch on Saturday(Chick-fil-a), Sunday(Spin Pizza), and Monday(Smashburger) I tried to stay on plan as much as I could. At Chick-fil-a, I tried their Superfoods Salad with Kale and Broccolini.Of course it was drenched in salad dressing and covered with dried fruit that I gave to the kids. It came with nuts that I added and ate as my fat. Though I am sure the dressing should have counted too.  Sunday, I had another salad at Spin...and again it was covered in dressing (I forgot to order it on the side), goat cheese, and more nuts...so I had way too much fat. Monday we ate lunch at Smashburger. I had a burger on a bed of lettuce and a salad...but the burger had cheese, bacon and fried onions on it...another triple fat wammy. We also had a Birthday cookie cake and I had a piece and it was so good. But after a small portion I was shockingly satisfied. I weighed in over the long weekend to make

Meals 2 bars and 2 shakes and a Pizza Lunch: Profile Pizza with Cheese , BBQ Sauce and Chicken added and a salad with dressing Dinner: Chicken Salad lettuce wraps Challenges: You already know my issues with exercise. But I did get on the treadmill for 2 miles today....and another episode of House of Cards...OMG I can't believe what happened in this episode! I went fast enough to sweat. Working from home cuts my walking down quite a bit...so even with 2 miles on the treadmill I didn't even break 7000 steps. But better than the 2000-3000 I have been getting the past few days. I hope to break 10,000 today with a walk a lunch and walking to the Stadium for a Sporting KC game tonight. I ran out of shakes today because my meetings with my coach vary between Wednesdays and Thursdays. So when I go eight days...I am short. Hence the two bars. Food: My pizza concoction was awesome! Hubby made me a chicken salad with FF miracle whip , jicama and celery and some seasonings...and

Meals: Normal Shakes, Bar, and Fiber drink Lunch: Grilled Zucchini, Rainbow Carrots, Celery with PBPPB Dinner: Artichoke and Prosciutto stuffed Chicken with Asparagus and Balsamic Challenges: Those damn brownies are still on our kitchen counter...and I took another bite!!! WHY WHY WHY...didn't I just state that they aren't that good?!?! I had hoped to work out yesterday since both hubby and I were home early for work...but again I used the time to get household chores done. I took 5 more bags to Goodwill and 3 bags to kid's sale. Food Review: The grilled zucch and carrots were sooooo bland. Note to self bring at least salt and pepper to work. Hubby's stuffed chicken is a pretty yummy treat. I accidentally waited too long after my last shake to take my meds/vitamins...so I had to take a couple of bites of a bar to not throw up:). So I ate the rest of the bar for breakfast this morning...I am out of shakes and won't get to Profile until lunchtime to restock.

Meals Monday: Lunch: Cod, Salad, Dressing  (out to eat). Dinner: Green beans with Salt and Balsamic by bedtime still had two shakes left and a bar...so bar didn't get eaten. Tuesday: Lunch: Taco meat salad, with Salsa and Sour Cream Late Afternoon: Plate of Crudite Dinner: Shake Cheat: Bite of brownie (was oddly not that great) Challenges: Monday and Tuesday I had events at lunch and so I ate my normal dinner portions mid day and had my normal lunch at dinner time. I was VERY jealous of all the food that everyone else around me was enjoying. Mine was good and I scarfed it down both times...but I was still pining over my neighbors' choices. Also both days I had too many things to do that exercise again did not happen. I am hoping this week with my husband's work schedule being light...that I will be able to get some exercise time in. I tried to do a little bit of yoga last night to calm my mind after a information rich day...but I was awake from 1:30-4:30 thi

Meals: Friday...I have no clue Saturday: Lunch: Profile Lemonade and Veggie Lasagna Dinner: Cauliflower Rice, Pulled Pork, Broccoli Slaw, BBQ sauce, Honey Mustard Yogurt Dressing Sunday: Lunch: Profile Cheese Pizza with additional Cheese and Ham Dinner: Rice free Sushi Challenges:I am still not working out. I am not sure what my deal is. I have a jawbone device that I use to monitor exercise and sleep. I think one of my issues is that my sleep is not consistent. Some nights like weekends or the day I work from home I could get as much as 9 hours of sleep. On other nights I could get as little as 5 1/2 hours. Making me too tired. I also tend to re-use my exercise time to run errands and get things done that are easier done when Kid Free. Food Review: Profile Lemonade...I tried it blended with ice hoping for a slushy type drink. I wish I had tried it normal the first time...because I was not impressed. It was too watered down. I think if I mixed it with either a lacroix or

Meals Regular Shakes, Bar, and Fiber drink Lunch: Spinach, Honey Mustard Dressing , Celery and PBP PB Dinner: Steak, Beets, and Asparagus and Balsamic Challenges:I was able to get out for a walk yesterday over lunch. So yea! I hope to do the same today...pending rain. Food: Nothing new today...but I am looking forward to trying the new Lemonade drink. The give out single pack samplings at our store with new items. I hope to make a slushy out of it tomorrow! Weight:  - 44.63    down a little bit more today :) Today's musings....What do you say when someone points out that you have lost weight? I always find it an awkward situation. Some (especially men) don't always make it sound like compliment. Women will usually end with a "good for you". I mean I am always polite...and when they include a compliment...or an attempt at a compliment...I always say "Thank You." But it still feels weird to have this conversation. I have never been one to verbalize

Meals Regular Shakes, Bar, and Fiber Drink Lunch: Veggie Lasagna and a Shake Dinner: Pulled Pork BBQ, BBQ Sauce, Cauliflower "rice", Broccoli Slaw, Honey Mustard Yogurt Dressing Challenges: The waking up to workout thing is a major failure this week. I am desperate for sleep. I need to start walking at work. That will keep my stroller/hand rail issue at bay. I have to meet a co-board member at the bank today around lunch...so I will plan on a walk before and/or after that. I have a great audiobook right now...so that will be a motivation. We think we figured out why the activity tracker that I was able to link to the Profile Website was SOOO off. It seems that Profile's website has a timezone issue....a big one...like it's on London time zone. So my "days" are not accurate. Gotta love Profile's horrendous web presence. I was assured by the Store's manager that the company is investing huge amounts of money into a new website and phone apps.

Meals: Regular Shakes and Bar Lunch: Baked Squash with Balsamic and Celery with PBP PB Dinner: Steak and Veggie Lasagna Challenges: Really kicked some workout butt today! I had a doctor's appointment get done an hour earlier than expected which gave me about 45 mins to work out before my next appointment. Ran home, changed clothes and got on the treadmill and watched an episode of House of Cards. THEN I also walked almost another 2 miles during 6yo dance class! The only upsetting thing was that my new Jawbone UP activity tracker wasn't very consistent with steps when I was holding on to the treadmill handrails or while pushing the stroller on the second walk :(. Also I was able to get my tracker synced with the Profile site...but I had to talk to a technical representative in Sioux Falls for them to do it. And this morning I noticed that the numbers are WAY off what the APP on my phone for the jawbone says...so maybe it doesn't sync...though it is getting something jus

Meals Regular shakes, fiber drink, and bar (one shake with Almond Milk and PBP ) Lunch: Spinach Salad with Honey Mustard yogurt Dressing , Celery with PBP PB  Dinner: Turkey Burger with 1 LFLC Cheese, Ketchup and FF Miracle Whip in Romaine lettuce wrap, Grilled Zucchini/Squash Challenges: I have tried to set my alarm for 5am this week to exercise in the morning...but I am way too exhausted to get up...I end up hitting the snooze alarm or switching my alarm to the regular 6am time. I even have a new jawbone that I can set a reminder on and it will vibrate to try and get me out of bed. I just turned that F-er off too. My excuses are starting to sound like excuses even to me. I am too tired...it has been cold and rainy this week...can't get out of bed. But I know if I start doing it regularly, I will feel better, and sleep better at night. Tomorrow I work from home so I can get up and work out without having to get up at 5am...so baby steps. Last night was chilly so I was m

Meals: Normal shakes and bars throughout. Ran out of fiber drink and haven't made it to the store. Friday Lunch: Pulled Pork Salad Dinner: Profile Pizza and Salad Saturday Lunch: Profile Pizza and Salad Dinner: Steak and Asparagus Cheat: 1 bite of a cupcake Cheat: 3 of my 6yos french fries Sunday Lunch: Profile Pizza and Celery Dinner: BBQ Brisket and Broccoli Slaw with Honey Mustard Yogurt Dressing Cheat: 2 bites of kid's grilled cheese Challenges: Friday was the 6yo birthday party. Pizza and Cake. The pizza didn't look all that amazing so that wasn't as big a challenge as I thought it would be. The Cake did look that amazing...and I was the one who cut it. Luckily I had my invisalign in and no extra time or hands to pull them out...so I didn't even taste it. I asked my mom to divvy up the left over for the 3 other families that we split the party with and so we didn't have leftover cake in our house. Unfortunately we also had cupcakes for the

Meals Regular shakes and Bar Lunch: Celery with PBP PB Dinner: Red Robin Lettuce Wrap Turkey Burger with mayo and BBQ sauc e and cheese and bottomless broccoli Cheats: burger had crispy onions on it and I licked the frosting off the knife of the birthday bundt cake Challenges: BIRTHDAY ice cream and cake...and the party isn't until tonight. Exercise: I rode my bike to 6yo school for her lunch period and then rode it to my Profile Appt and then back home. It seemed long...but I forgot to set my tracker on the second and third legs of the trip. So I google mapped it and it was only 3.1 miles. But I sweated and had to walk the bike once up the hill towards the grade school. So I count that as a work out. Weight: I didn't weigh in today.

Regular shakes and bar and water throughout the day Lunch: Cucumbers with 2 LFLC cheese Celery with PBP PB Dinner: Chicken Meatballs Green Beans Chick-fil-a sauce Challenges: I had hoped to walk during kiddo's dance class tonight...but Target was calling...literally...I had scripts to pick up...and birthday presents to buy. I did try to walk at a pretty fast pace while in Target because I wanted to try to get another errand ran during my 45min window. But my husband texts me after I was already done on the food side that he needed some energy drinks and vitamin water zero. So I literally ran from one side of the store to the other. I actually needed to at this point because I was running late to pick up the kiddo at dance. So maybe not the exact workout I needed...but I was out of breath by the time I got to checkout. And the baby was thrilled at the fun ride in the cart. ***BUT I did set my alarm this morning(Day 120) for 5am and did 2 miles on the treadmill before wo

Meals: Regular shakes, bar, and fiber drink. Lunch: Spinach Salad with cucumbers and broccoli slaw. Honey Mustard Yogurt Dressing cut with Profile Dressing Dinner: BBQ Pork and Brisket lettuce wraps with BBQ sauce . Challenges: Working out continues to be my downfall. I rushed and rushed to get out of the house last night with tennis shoes and socks on...all ready to walk during kiddo's gymnastics class. But baby had other plans and had a blowout instead. So I spent the first 15 minutes of gymnastics cleaning her up and digging through the trunk of my car for extra clothes. By that time I was too tired to think about heading out for a walk. I also tell myself EVERY night that if I wake up between 4:45 and 5:15am to go to the bathroom, I am going to stay up and workout before work...but every morning that I do wake up, go pee and then look at the clock I laugh at myself and go back to sleep. Part of the problem is that even though I am exhausted at night...I don't fall as

Meals: Last week was CRAZY busy..and I am terrible about writing down what I had to eat on days like that. Thurs: Lunch: Crudite with 1 LFLC Cheese (??) I had a VERY small one. I also took a small bite 3 elbow noodles of Mac and Cheese. I also had a sampling of our BBQ event's signature drink that contained Rum, Vodka, and Fruit Juice...maybe a shot glass worth. Sat: Lunch:Samplings of BBQ Pork and Brisket Dinner: Salad with cucumbers and Broccoli Slaw, Bolthouse Honey Mustard Dressing and a Profile Cheese Pizza with BBQ Pork and Brisket on top Shakes and Bar throughout    Sun: I slept in so I

Lunch: Shake and Cucumbers, carrots, celery, LFLC Cheese, PBP Peanut Butter Profile Pizza and Brussel Sprouts Dinner: Chicken meatballs, small piece of fish, veggie lasagna Steak, beets, asparagus Challenges: Carving out time to exercise. Coach challenged me to create a calendar with specific slots carved out for exercise since I am so good at making excuses. I want to exceed what was planned. I WANTED to get up this morning and work out. I woke up on my own (to pee) at 4:50am...it would have been a perfect time to just shake off the sleep and go work out. But that bed just called to me and said you are not done sleeping yet. I know that if I don't have at least 90 minutes left before my alarm goes off I should not go back to sleep...but I did anyway. Now I am dragging. I hit the snooze alarm twice and had to fly out the door to make my commute. I forgot a shaker bottle/cup...so today will be a fun filled experience making my shakes. I have a big BBQ event tomorrow. So al

Lunch: Leftover Brussel Sprouts and butternut squash and a chocolate shake Dinner: Chicken Sausage and Part of a leftover stuffed chicken breast, cauliflower and green beans with Honey Mustard Yogurt Dressing Fats: Honey Mustard Yogurt Dressing and 16 Pistachios Freebies: Almond Milk, PB Powder, stuffing in the chicken breast/cilantro in the cauliflower rice. Challenges: This morning someone was in the break room while I was washing out my shake mixing cup(SIDE NOTE: PLEASE remind me to wash these out right after use...the protein powder is a bitch to wash out after it sat over night) and he threw a package of pop tarts in the toaster...holy hell did those smell amazing. Did anyone see the article that tracked Season 8 contestants of the Biggest Loser for years after the show ended. I just finished reading it...and holy crap am I scared to death that all of this work and sacrifice are going to be for not after I reach my goal. How do we keep our metabolism in check during this

I was concerned there would be a ton of carnival food...but there wasn't and the two food trucks were not all that amazing. So walked away from that one. Hubby showed up from work towards the end so I sent him to take kiddo for ice cream as she was promised a treat at the carnival with nothing to choose from. Saturday same kiddo begged to go to her favorite fast food place
