A couple new game changers, a set back, and am hungry.

Friday night we had fajitas!! They were yummy! Eric grilled off flank steak and squash(cuz I am not a fan of peppers) and we used romaine leaves instead of tortillas. I used one wedge of laughing cow and Fat free sour cream. I would have also used salsa...but we discovered mold growing in my salsa...so next time I will definitely use it. My other veggie was raw broccoli with 1.5 Tablespoon of Yogurt based dressing to dip.

I ended my day with a Chocolate Hazelnut Hot Cocoa shake with a scoop of PB powder.

I slept in until 9:30am so that threw my whole eating schedule off.

Started with a hot chocolate shake.

Mid morning snack - I discovered the my miracle PB powder tastes good with the strawberry shakes too!! I also added spinach to it as a smoothie and can't taste it a bit...plus I get another veggie in.

For lunch I had two cups veggies and the Profile Tomato Soup...I made it with a bit of broth and I added some tomato paste to "liven" it up a bit.  It helped a bit. I had 16 pistachios for my fat.

Afternoon snack was the 15g Smores Bar. It was pretty chewy...but not my favorite. I also had my Kool-aid flavored fiber drink with sparkling water. Tip to save the carbonation...mix the packet with like an ounce of plain water or an ounce of the sparkling water to dissolve the powder and then pour in the rest of the sparkling water.

For dinner Eric made a what was supposed to be a Thai Peanut Chicken with a veggie medly using the Profile freebie Noodles. I thought it was a good option, but neither of us were impressed with the consistency of the noodles. They also sucked up all the peanut sauce so the rest of the meal was too dry. We might try it again with the Profile freebie rice.

I ended my day as I always do with a Chocolate Hazelnut Hot Cocoa shake with a scoop of PB powder.

On Sunday I reversed my Chocolate and Strawberry shakes. We also went to Target for grocery shopping...and I convinced Eric to buy some protein shaker bottles to help with the mixing of the powdered shakes. We bought 4 Contigo shakers...they were like 6.99 or 7.99 each...So I feel they were worth the price.

For lunch I created a new game changer...
I was roasting some brussel sprouts for myself.(Eric was doing his own meal for lunch due to wanting to make wings for the football game...so he was swapping his dinner and lunch) when I remembered we had bought broccolinni (like broccoli but with longer stems...and NOT broccoli rob...that crap is gross) earlier in the week and we needed to cook it as it was getting droopy.
While it was roasting away, I was trying to decide what my fat would be, along with my veggies and Profile chicken soup. When I decided I wanted cheese...I had an epiphany...Broccoli Cheese Soup!!! So here is my recipe. Chicken soup packet, 3 wedges of Laughing Cow(I prefer the cheddar one), 1 cup of brocoli or broccolinni, and 1 cup of low sodium chicken stock (or I cheated and used half regular stock and half water). Heat up the stock/water in the microwave. Roast the broccoli for 10 minutes at 400 degrees. and the blend it all in the magic bullet. Yum Yum...I am having it for lunch again today!

For snack, I have the fiber drink and sparkling water and the 15g Fudge Graham bar. Again the bars are okay...but but I am still not in love with any of them yet...still have 5 to go in my Variety pack...so I am crossing my fingers that I find THE one!

For dinner Eric made me Snow Crab Legs (note 2 lbs of crab legs was only about 4.5 oz of actual meat....plan accordingly) and a spinach salad with carrots, cucumbers, and 5yo's extra green beans. I used the Yogurt based honey mustard mixed with Panera poppy seed dressing for my fat.

and guess what I had my Chocolate Hazelnut Hot Cocoa shake with a scoop of PB powder for dessert...I know shocker!! But when you find something that works....

I will say that this weekend I felt hungry more often than I have in the past. I was constantly eyeballing the clock and trying to convince myself to wait another 30-45 mins for my next meal. And to top it off I weighed myself on Sunday night and I had GAINED 3 lbs. I was PISSSSSSSEEED off to say the least. Eric assured me that I had not been weighing myself at the same time every day...and that I should only do it in the morning. I know that I have been always been doing it at night because that's when I shower! Either way I weighed myself this morning and I was back down to the same weight I was on Friday before Sunday night's 3 lbs fiasco....but still ticked. Granted I wasn't all that active this weekend...in fact never left the house on Saturday and Sunday only went to Target. But I washed like 4 loads of laundry and put away what felt like 10 loads(lots left over from previous weeks) and I sorted and organized the baby's closet and drawers and cleaned out the baby stuff out of the kitchen for resale...So its not like I was sitting all day.
Anyway, I know better then to weigh myself this often. I should do it twice a week at the most.

Alright...that's it for this past weekend!
Off to heat up my soup for lunch today!
